Its raining non stop for the last 2 days & on top of that its windy & cold too. So much windy that my little flimsy umbrella almost flew away with the wind,  not just the umbrella but part of me, few limbs were also carried away with the wind, (see 1st pic) Lolz ;) PJ much ? (wink ) I know.

Although these days I am mostly staying indoors since my son has caught cold but the weather is so b'ful outside.

I got this amazing denim coat from OASAP. Its so smart & chic, I love the boxy fit.The dress is super cute also worn here but I'd also love to style this coat with denim shorts, denim on denim looks pretty cool.

So today's look was created in a hurry where I threw in whatever I could find quickly without thinking too much.
 But of course the long fur panel vest is the focus here & it is really warm. This is gonna be my go- to outerwear for the coming days. & yes it definitely needs to be ironed. 
It can be styled in so many ways & can be dressed up or down, not to mention Selena gomez was spotted in exact same zara version, so you know you're right on trend with something like this.

PUFFER DRESS

Hey Dolls!

So here it is. An OOTD after so long. What can I say, its so cold outside & I've become so lazy plus the days are short & the sun sets at 4 pm after that its completely dark outside.

 But I can assure you, you'll see more OOTDs in the coming days. 

Here I am wearing a puffer dress. What is your take on the idea of a puffer dress? Would you like to wear this trend or think its much suited for  a sleeping bag? As you can tell I am a very experimental kind of a person & anything unique or quirky instantly catches my eye, so much so that, I have more colorful & quirky pieces in my closet than the basic ones & I really have a hard time when I need to team a quirky piece with a basic piece for a wearable look, lolz

Coming to today 's outfit, this dress has a quilted top & puffer full skirt. I just love this dress. We went to half moon bay that day with some amazing friends. The weather was great. It was a sunny day & we had so much fun

Let me make a confession  here. I might look like a girl who loves to have lots of fun & isn't afraid to try anything new, etc. But the fact is I want to be that girl but I'm most certainly not one & even the idea of an easy slide (let alone the mary go round or roller coaster rides) meant for a 2-3 yr old kid scares me off. I know funny & weird, But here it is a fun weird fact about me ;)
So although my little kiddo thoroughly enjoyed the slide, I was shouting throughout the slide. & My almost 3 yr old boy was like " Its ok mumma, you're a brave girl "

Hey Dolls!

So Finally I got some time to blog in between all the unpacking & settling down in the new apartment. Still gotta buy some furniture, since we got rid of the old one. 

Coming to the Today's Outfit , You dolls know how much I adore wearing overalls.

Overalls have made a comeback in a big way & they are popping up everywhere & are not just limited to a child's wardrobe

Overalls are one of my favorite piece of clothing since its so versatile, you can go for a glam look, dress it down, boho, relaxed look in slouchy ones & layer it over.

I also feel its a very cool & fun piece of clothing.

That's the first thing that came to my mind when I entered this place. I'd almost cancelled our trip to this place but I'm so glad that we went there.

Sometimes, I just feel why are we always in a hurry, what are we running after, why are our minds always full of things, things we gotta do, deadlines & what is it that keeps us from spending some valuable time with our kids, enjoy nature's beauty, etc.

Why can't we be like a free bird, that eats from the nature, sleeps in her nest & is free to go wherever she wants. & yes a dip in the river or lake when she needs a bath. Lolz. Freaking awesome life!!

But on a serious note, we all need to take a break from our fast paced lives & enjoy nature's beauty every once in a while!

Living for Others is the Rule of Nature.

Just like the bird & all other animals get whatever they need from the nature, why can't humans? I mean why do we want more? & in the process of doing so, we are killing what we have (nature), which is not just ours but is equally shared with the rest of nature ( animals, birds) . Firstly we have no right to kill what is not just ours. Secondly, Why do we have to?

The nature itself is so rich. If you protect it, it'll multiply while this pollution in the name of advancement of technology will only destroy the nature & decrease our lifespans too.

& When nature gives us so much, water, food, sunlight, our duty is to give back.

" Give the nature the best you have & the best will come back to you"

Well, Just my thoughts!!
