I had been MIA for quite a few days but I promise I'll make it up to you guys. So Its already mid December. The wind is chilly. Christmas is just around the corner & I am doing a lot of Christmas decor crafts with my son.

It was a beautiful day, sunny but the wind is chilly.  I decided to don a tan colored Coat. I love this over-sized coat.  I accessorized it with a black skinny belt. I am actually wearing this coat every single day ever since I got it in mail.

Hey Ladies,

Hope your karwachuth went great yesterday. Karwachauth is a one day festival when Indian women keep whole day fast, (no water or food) for the well being of their husbands. The fast is broken after the moon appears in the sky.

 Don't even get into thinking that India is a regressive country where women are treated badly & made to fast all day while the husband's well being is thought of more importance 

First of all yes it is a tradition that women does the fast

but Indian husbands are really sweet, many of my friend's husbands also fast wth ther wives ( Yes, You, I'm talking about you ), just because they don't want to eat if his wife is fasting

And my dad used to cook dinner for my mom

& How could I forget this one, the wives also get gifts from their husbands. 

Aren't Indian festivities the best, they make the relationships stronger, festivals like these make you love your partner even more, remind you how amazing the love of your life is.

I am in a quilted phase right now. I am wearing back to back quilted clothes, first quilted dress, then skirt, then quilted denim jacket. I love the idea of denim on denim, so for today's outfit its the blues of denims combined with white, which is a classic combination

Hey Dolls!
So as promised, an ootd after so long. The weather has started warming up, the sun is out  & so are my legs. The whole February, California weather was full of mood swings & hence very few Outfit posts.
This might have made a nice V- day outfit, but I love to wear heart print no matter what the occasion.
This sweater is really warm & super cute which  decided to pair with a crisp white quilted skirt & white sneakers. Perfect for early Spring. Little hint of skin yet warm enough!
