A Windy Day

Hey dolls!

Hope everyone had a fun & stylish long weekend. The other day we went to San Francisco. Oh boy, Its still so cold & windy. I mean, some days california is hot, some days its cold, its so difficult to decide what to wear.

 I mean like, dude, make up you mind! will you?

But anyways, this gave me a chance to wear this COAT that I ordered from Dresslily sometime ago but never got a chance to wear. Enjoy the pics.

This outfit comes in 2 parts, during the day when it wasn't cold I wore it without the coat, That I'll cover in another post

This coat is really gorgeous, not the warmest one but perfect for fall & lesser cold days. It has a lapel cape collar which I love. Lately I am craving powerful bold shoulders, so it gets bonus points for that.
As for the shipping time, which is mostly a concern when ordering from asian sites, this one was pretty quick too. I also got a mustache watch from Dresslily that I wore in my last post.

Model 21 eyelashes

Let me begin with a Confession. This is the first time I've put on the eye lashes myself &I've always been so scared of putting the eyelashes & I thought of it as the most difficult part of make up & was always so envious of the girls who'd wear eyelashes & have those b'ful dreamy eyes. Seriously how unnecessary was all this & how ignorant I was. All I needed was a pair of MODEL 21 LASHES & a good quality glue, I used DUO. I so regret of not having been introduced to MODEL 21 LASHES before.

• It didn't poke me at all in the corner of my eyes
• Very comfortable. I didn't even realize I had them on
• Weightless
• So natural looking
• Very soft, both lashes & the band
• Easy to glue on
• long lasting, I had them on for more than 4 hrs

Okay Lets begin with my favorite items. You must have observed by now that I don't experiment much with my makeup. I almost always go for eye makeup without or very subtle eyeshadow & red/ pink lips.

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist

As I said I rarely use eyeshadow, but if I ever do, I go with gold, brown & apricot shades. & ever since I've received this, I'm using it daily. This is by far my favorite item from the box, actually I can't decide between the mascara & eye shadow, its a tie between the two.

I can't even begin to tell how much I love this mascara, the best part, super long brush wand, very convenient to use, the longest brush I have tried, so I'm not trying any other brand mascara now. I've become brand loyal now.

This is a nice eyeliner if you are into gel eyeliners. As for me, mostly I use liquid eyeliner, but when I have some extra time I use gel eyeliner, its good for the skin around the eyes, it doesn't smudge & dries fast. I like the expandable brush.

Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss in Mango Tango

I love this one. I'm very picky when it comes to lip gloss & lipsticks. Only 2 colors: red/orange & pink

I want them super pigmented. I like bold lips. & this lip gloss is just that, its super pigmented & red. That is how I like it. In the look above I've used it on the top of red lipstick & then another coat of MK lipgloss. Love it.

Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush: 

Nice, soft & convenient

Mary Kay® Bronzing Powder : Its nice but I'm not much into bronzers, I use it rarely below the cheekbones. For someone who loves to contour the face, it'll be nice.

Mary Kay® Translucent Loose Powder: 

Greatfor a dewy look, nice weightless

Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color

I like it, nice shade
