Fortunately my dad's old pants fitted me perfectly on the waist, I rolled the hem & they were perfect without needing any kind of alteration. Follow my advice & always look at fabrics with a new set of eyes.

& Here comes my handsome son. Don't be surprised if 30 years later he posts a picture of himself wearing these exact pants & talking about his grand father's 60 years old pants... PJ much? :P
